As Principal, leading a highly effective school council is fundamental to achieving strong, shared outcomes for the school, the students and community. Hi, I am a Mother of 4, 2 of which are at Hopetoun Primary school. I have been serving on various school council's for the past 5 years. I am now currently the council chair person, which is enabling me to get a greater in-depth understanding of the role of a school council. Karrina has been an active volunteer for Hopetoun Primary School for over 11 years. Karrina is the manager at Hopetoun CRC where she leads a strong team and has excellent working relationships with a wide variety of community groups and stakeholders. Karrina thrives on collaboration, enjoys working with other strong community leaders to help support and connect her community through opportunities that promote a vibrant and healthy community. Karrina is a very active member of the community who is passionate about the community and the environment - Karrina Smallman, Parent Representative
