Welcome to Hopetoun Primary School

Welcome to Hopetoun Primary School’s website. Hopetoun Primary was established in 2007, and is situated in the pristine coastal town of Hopetoun, on the edge of the beautiful Fitzgerald River National Park.

Swimming Lessons 2020

We are fortunate to have some Swimming Instructors down from Perth to run our In term Swimming program. Despite not having a full staff on the first day (due to the fires), the students have had a great start to their lessons!  

Cricket Incursion

All the students enthusiastically participated in a cricket program. This is a four week program that will continue during the students PE lessons. Thank you to the WACA, and especially development officer Chris Secker, for coordinating this program.  


Marine Safety Incursion

Staff and students were treated to a most informative, interesting and highly relevant Marine Safety presentation last week. The session focused on the importance of being adequately prepared before setting sail.


Afternoon with Galaxy Excursion

Staff accompanied students from Years P-6 on Friday 25 October for an excursion to the Galaxy mine site and according to all attending it was a most interesting exercise.
