What’s happening in our classroom: Room 6

Term Four in Room Six has started off with a flurry of activity. We are starting off our end of year presentation preparations, finalising class projects and have begun weekly dance les sons in the undercover area every Friday.
This term we are continuing our focus on sustainability and how our school can reduce waste. We were have teamed up with Jackie Edwards from The Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council who came into school and helped us to make ‘junky jellyfish’ from used plastic drink bottles. Our jellyfish will become part of the display for the local waste awareness exhibition held at the Hopetoun CRC in November. Our class has really taken on board our move towards more waste aware practices and are eager to do as much as we can!
Next week we will be celebrating Senior’s Week by celebrating with the senior citizens at Mary Anne Haven for some afternoon tea, stories and games.
