Marine Safety Incursion

Staff and students were treated to a most informative, interesting and highly relevant Marine Safety presentation last week. The session focused on the importance of being adequately prepared before setting sail.

Basic essentials like sunscreen, hat, water were covered as were life jackets and even the use of emergency flares.

The students were clearly engaged as they competed with each other and the clock to get into life jackets in under 30 seconds. Both presenters were impressed with the quality of our students’ responses and Brianna Sinagra was the worthy recipient of a life jacket worth $160.
